Stephanie Maternity || Orange County Maternity Photography
Let’s talk about superwomen for a minute!
She’s a mama to 3 and expecting her 4th!
She’s due today!
She looks like a goddess!
She didn’t even complain for a minute as I trudged her through a muddy field with her 3 littles dressed in all white.
Meet Stephanie!
Can you believe her due date is the day we did photos? Honestly I was swollen and angry and not glowing at all on my due date. She is an anomaly. A beautiful, I want to be you kind of anomaly.
And her sweet, well behaved kids, well they’re just that! So sweet, well behaved, good listeners, and absolutely adorable. You know her new addition is going to be so loved.
Her new addition is another little girl and you know she’s going to be cutest ever! Don’t fret though, I’ll show you photos of the new baby too! Fresh babies are THE BEST!

Spitz Family || Orange County Family Photography
Right after I had Hudson, I started taking his photos and all my mama friends at The New Mom School loved his photos so they hired me too. At the time, I had no clue that I could actually make a living off taking adorable baby photos, hell I didn’t even know how to use my camera to its fullest potential but I did know I had a passion for this and passion can take you a long way.
I was actually writing a lifestyle blog at the time and used my camera more for personal than for business, which is how I met Alex. I interviewed her while I was pregnant and she invited me to take her classes. Little did I know that would literally change my life. Not only did I meet and become instant friends with her and the mamas in my class but I also grew a business from nothing and have made it into my dream come true. I stay home with my own babies, I snuggle other babies and I get to be creative the entire time. For me, it doesn’t get any better than that.
Now I get to photograph mamas at the New Mom School twice a month, I photograph Alex and her adorable family every chance I can, my business has grown more than I ever thought possible and I still get to snuggle babies.
To say that Alex and The New Mom School hold a special place in my heart would be an understatement. I could write on and on about how crazy it is that my life’s trajectory totally changed from a single email but it did and for that I am eternally grateful!
Isabella Newborn || Newborn Photography Orange County
Steve and Stephanie welcomed their perfect baby girl, Isabella in December and oh my goodness she is a doll! Steve and Stephanie purchased their session at a silent auction benefit at the Talega Golf Course to benefit Steve Schenkenberger. If you haven’t heard of his story, you have to follow the link. It’s incredible and I was more than happy to donate to the cause.
Sweet Isabella’s big brother was seriously the cutest thing. He was SO proud and loves that little girl so much, she is one lucky lady to be surrounded by so much love!
Baby details. Are they not the cutest thing you’ve ever seen? Like seriously, I just want to print these tiny details from every session and give them to parents. They’re the cutest!
Kristin's Lifestyle Holiday Edition || Orange County Lifestyle Family Photography
The Rivorisa family was asked by CHOC to be a part of the 2018 Holiday Home Tour and while her house was decorated we took at advantage and did a lifestyle family session.
Their sweet little boys decorating the Christmas tree, giggles on their bed, running around in their yard. These are memories that you’ll want to keep forever and now they can.
Something about the holidays with little kids just makes your heart melt into a million pieces. Lifestyle sessions are relaxed, fun and really capture the essence of your family - something that cannot be done in a beautiful field. As much as I love the field sessions, I think a lifestyle session is an absolute must every 5 years but especially when your kids are little.
Everly is ONE || Orange County Children's Photography
Little miss Everly was only 7 days new when I met her the first time and actually I did her mama’s maternity session too so maybe she was 38 weeks wombed when I first met her. Either way, she is so near and dear to my heart. Something about watching your newborn clients grow is so special and I will always hold a little piece of my heart for them. Here’s a peek into her mama’s maternity session, in case you want to see it.
Now that tiny little Everly is ONE years old! 😭 How in the world does a year go by so fast? I heard a quote last night that said “In not very long, this will seem like a long time ago.” Isn’t that the truth!
Everly’s mama did such an amazing job with her cake smash session. She bought all of these props and the session was done in her home. At home sessions like this are actually pretty easy so if you’re interested in a studio look like this one, it’s doable!
Kai Newborn || Orange County Newborn Photographer
My sweet sister in law just welcomed their first baby and OMG he’s the sweetest tiniest thing ever! This last weekend we traveled to Denver to meet him. Seriously look at that sweet face!
It was Poppy’s first time on a plane which is always exciting and our first time meeting some other family in Denver too. Denver is a rad little city! Union Station and The Dairy Block in Downtown Denver are a must for your list of places to see.
Sweet little Kai was born at 37 weeks and was almost 5lbs when we saw him. So tiny and so perfect! Here are some of my favorite shots I took while we were there.
Desai Family || Orange County Family Photographer
You know when you meet someone and you’ve felt like you’ve known them forever… That was so true for the Desai family. I knew from our first chat on the phone that I loved her and I couldn’t wait to meet the rest of the family! The rest of the family was just as genuine, fun, loving and such a joy to be around.
And Oliver 😍Seriously is the cutest thing ever! Here are a couple of my favorites from their family session in Irvine over the holidays.
2019 One Little Word - INTENTIONAL || Orange County Photography
Happy 2019!
Seems unreal that another year has come and gone. Another year of baby’s born, birthdays, vacations, family memories and growth. Another year. Why does time go faster as we age? It doesn't seem fair. When were younger, time goes so slow and as we age and really start to enjoy our time, it goes faster. One of life’s greatest conundrums.
Each year I choose ONE LITTLE WORD to remind me about my goals. Last year my word was GROWTH. I grew a child, we grew our home, I grew relationships, my business grew, I had quite the year of growth.
This year it’s INTENTIONAL. I want to be more intentional about my time. My time at work. My time with kids. My time with my hubby. My time for me. Its so easy to get trapped in the social media phone zone and loose precious hours in a day, by habit alone. So I started off the New Year by deleting the Instagram app from my phone. What an eye opening experience. I was seriously addicted.
While the app is back on my phone now, it still holds a different place. I don’t crave it. I don’t reach for it first thing in the morning. I don’t have a habit.
Now I have set times that are scheduled into my day for social media and it’s truly work rather than random scrolling! Now I focus on my own babies instead of watching strangers with theirs. I have to choose to make this my priority because we all know how easy it is to get caught up in it again.
